I am trying to find the best container to make large batches of cold brew. I am just not a fan of large glass containers for obvious reasons (shatter, impalement etc). I was looking at the RTIC 1 gallon Stainless Steel Jugs and thought those might make the perfect container for making cold brew using a nut bag or similar filter.

When you first start experimenting with normal coffee beans for cold brews, you will probably notice that the coffee flavors will still be very much like the normal hot brew. However, if you keep the brewing process the same as when you were making a regular hot brew, you will be able to blend in the different coffee flavors with ease.
FAQ

Can cold brew steep for 8 hours?

✔️
You should cold brew coffee for about 16 hours. After the first 8 hours the caffeine is infused into the water, and the more you let it sit the more flavor will be extracted from the ground coffee. The first 8 hours are when the caffeine in your coffee is extracted, no more will steep after that.

If your Keurig is plugged in, the water is all heated up but when you press the ‘brew’ button, it does not brew the cup of coffee- there is a possibility of a blockage somewhere in the unit. If everything seems to be in its place and you’re using K-cups , still if your Keurig doesn’t brew, you might want to clean or reset it.
